Quote:
Mario Manningham and Aqib Talib have reportedly been removed from "multiple teams'" draft boards due to alleged marijuana use in college.
Talib reportedly acknowledged at the Combine that he tested positive for pot three times at KU. Mario denied testing positive initially, then sent a letter to all 32 teams admitting he lied. Manningham claims he failed two drug tests at Michigan. Gaines Adams, Amobi Okoye, and Calvin Johnson were involved in a similar situation last year. Their draft stocks were not affected.

The Dolphins have reportedly begun contract discussions with Michigan OT Jake Long.
Don't read too much into this; the 'Fins will probably talk numbers with UVA DE/OLB Chris Long and possibly Ohio State DE/OLB Vernon Gholston before the draft as well. Still, the negotations indicate that Jake is being seriously considered for the No. 1 overall pick. To avoid a holdout, Miami wants a contract in place before making its choice, unlike Oakland last year.

In addition to Michigan OT Jake Long, the Dolphins are reportedly discussing a contract with Ohio State DE/OLB Vernon Gholston.
The talks began last week. No negotiations with Chris Long have taken place yet, but they still seem likely. Matt Ryan is believed to be out of the picture to go No. 1. The 'Fins reportedly "haven't even sniffed at" Darren McFadden
