Panthers, Sims close

After a productive meeting earlier this week, Sims and the Panthers are expected to iron out a contract in the next couple of days, according to The Rock Hill Herald. "The meeting went well, from a football standpoint and a personal standpoint," Sims' agent, Ken Vierra, said. "We're going to talk some more and see what happens."
The Panthers are looking for help at offensive tackle, and Sims would be the first step. Carolina is also expected to address the need early in the draft. Sims, 33, has played all nine of his NFL seasons for the Raiders.

i dont remember what they did to him first but might of been a concussion?
i know that spleen injury came against the panthers.... thats when our defense used to be ruthless, they softened up a little..... hope to see them step up their game again this year especially peppers
